About The Author

FROM OUR AUTHOR

Hi, my name is Korynn Wible-Freels, professional children’s author and native to the town of Kendallville, Indiana. I’m very happy to share about Indiana Right to Life’s adoption picture book, “So Many Special Families”.

This picture book tells the fictional – but relatable – stories of three children from different adoption scenarios: infant domestic adoption, international adoption, and adoption from foster care. Meaningful faith-based elements are also included, as Jesus Himself was not biologically related to His earthly father, Joseph.

This picture book has been nothing short of a God-enabled project, with the genuine goals of encouraging adoptive families as well as promoting adoption as a beautiful alternative to abortion.

By choosing “life then adoption”, biological parents are not only blessing a little boy or girl with the extraordinary gift of earthly life, they are also blessing a longing and deserving couple with the gift of parenthood. This makes expectant mothers who choose “life then adoption” heroes to children and their adoptive families alike.

There is only a two-letter difference between the words “abortion” and “adoption”. As a community of people who love God and who treasure beloved children, we have the power to make this profound two-letter change all across the globe.

“And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them.”

Mark 10:16
